Kit Lenker
Pet Grief Specialist & Educator
Kit is passionate about helping people through the grief of losing a beloved animal companion and helping pet owners with the difficult decisions that sometimes come with caring for a pet. We want what’s best for them, and sometimes that causes us pain. Allow Kit to be your guide as you navigate your own unique journey with grief.
Your Grief Journey is Unique to You
You don’t have to face your grief alone. As a grief specialist with additional training and certifications, Kit works with the belief that grief is a natural emotion that follows when we lose someone we love. Each person’s path with grief is individual, just as your relationship with your pet is unique to you. There are no cookie-cutter answers and you don’t have to “just get over it”. Studies have shown our grief for our animal companions is often deeper than the grief we feel when people in our life pass. They give us unconditional love and care and trust us completely, without judgment. It’s normal to grieve, and it’s normal to need support.
Kit’s proprietary grief pathfinder system recognizes the everyone’s path with grief is unique to them.
As someone who has been there, Kit understands the grief that accompanies the loss of a beloved pet. You are not alone.
Often grief isn’t the only experience that accompanies the loss of an animal companion. Kit provides support and help for the trauma and strong emotions that often accompany the loss of a pet.
